The only reason I haven't done more with what's offered is because I work full time at my other job and haven't had a lot of time to give to my private practice. The system is pretty easy to use. I haven't really run into any problems with it, no issues getting clients set up or anything like that. I like that it's a pretty comprehensive system that had a program library built in from the start, that's a huge deal to me. I can add programs into it if I want but I like that it came with plenty built in.
I find Rethink to be very user-friendly and comprehensive. When I think about other data collection methods out there, there are a lot of hoops to jump through. But, with Rethink everything is very easy, inputting protocols, scheduling, filling out notes, etc. I feel like the whole platform is user-friendly.

I'm very satisfied with the training and support. It just takes so long to get things going. It takes a while to get to where you need to in order to join the billing process. It's been quite a while and for a small company, that can be a detriment. That's the only hiccup we've had, though. I think the two trainers we had, I believe their names were Michelle and Brandy, I think they were excellent. Once they got involved and started working with us, it was smooth sailing. I can't complain at all about them.

We only use a few of the applications to be honest, we don't use every feature. If it could be consolidated, that'd be great. There are quite a few things to accidentally click on that we wouldn't ever use, so it'd be nice to be able to customize what is shown to me. We had a training session at one point with all of the campus directors and Rethink gave us a quick rundown on how to use everything. It was pretty straightforward, I haven't run into any issues so far. Everything has been pretty great. Neither myself or my staff has had any issues with the system and we all find it to be very simple and easy to use.

I've referred Rethink many times. For me, as a behavior analyst, it's really the one that gives me everything I need. It's very easy and the support is amazing. Anytime I've ever emailed anybody or asked for any help, they always get back to me right away and either tell me what to do to fix the problem or they fix the problem themselves. I've been very happy with it. I know it has a lot more capabilities than I've even scratched the surface of. When I go to conferences or talk to other clinic owners, Rethink is pretty much what everyone is using. I see it on online forums even, where Rethink is mentioned positively. I think people that aren't using it are probably going migrate to it eventually.

The program keeps us extremely organized. It gives us unlimited scheduling and that's a bonus because we have different business so it's really easy to get that into play. Also, we really like the Excel worksheet where you can just export all of the information into an Excel sheet with no issues. We've also really taken advantage of the RBT courses. The only thing that can be confusing is there are many different people who handle different things for support. So, sometimes I have to get passed around to the correct person. Once I am speaking to the right person though, they always get things handled for me.

Anytime I ran into a question, I was able to reach someone on the phone and they were able to help me really quickly and get me the answers I needed. I think the visual layout and the navigation for the behavior technicians is very easy to understand and simple, especially compared to something like Central Reach, which is so overwhelming. Rethink helps me to have a clinical library that is easy to access and easy to build a clinical program with. I'm able to write treatment plans, behavior plans and progress reports efficiently. I think it's also very easy to create a template, have it automatically populate data, it populates my graphs. I like that I can add a little blurb to each part of the graph and can customize what visuals and data I have showing, and what pictures I can upload. It's very easy to do the billing and to schedule appointments, I like that I can drag and drop appointments. I appreciate the flags and notices to let me know if I'm going over and authorization or if I can add billable hours to an appointment. I appreciate the practice management and the data and clinical pieces all being on one platform.

The staff is really good and overall they are a very supportive staff. I think the ABA side of things is really useful but a lot of the clinical aspects can be quite challenging. The resources provided are really good but I definitely think some other aspects could use enhancement.

From an administration point of view, it can be a tough system to use. However, from a technicians points of view, it's very easy. I loved the training itself and the support team is great. But, there's a lot happening in the training and obviously it's going to take time to learn everything. I did find myself having to go back a lot in the training, even with taking notes and everything. I think the autonomy that we have and the individuality we are given per client is great. I like that we can upload our own session notes, we're able to tailor it to what we want.

As far as using the system, the reporting is fine, and the scheduling is very good. However, the role settings and the payroll settings could be better. The actual training was excellent, once we got access to the system, wes were very happy and things went smoothly. We demoed other software systems and ultimately we chose Rethink after about 5 other demos because of the way that it looks, the way that it felt and the price. I really liked that it was an all-inclusive price whereas with others like Central Reach, there's a base price and if you want other things you have to add on fees, like a restaurant menu. So, that was a positive with Rethink.

I do really like the videos under the resource and training center and I like the medical necessity assessment online, as well as the RBT feature for them to do the videos through Rethink. However, as a business owner and someone who has worked with similar software on the backside, information is not organized. Documents aren't saved in files and there isn't a tree-structure available to easily find documents. Invoices do not include any date ranges or a breakdown of what we brought in during what periods so it is hard to track the 4% of our billing that Rethink charges. We are experiencing an issue where our notes are being archived for no apparent reason. Once the notes are archived we are unable to retrieve them in order to sign them. There are some things that are super straight forward, but errors pop up repeatedly when using Tools such as templates. When we enter in client information we'll enter in a large group of clients at once. Once we've entered in the clients, we receive error messages, and our work isn't saved. This has caused us to lose over 90 hours of work. The front-end training is very thorough. My issues are with the support. When we contact them regarding the errors we receive, support will ask us what time and client we received the error for. There is no way for us to know for sure as we enter multiple clients into the templates at a time and don't get the errors until after they've all been entered. It's frustrating because we have already lost all of the information we put in and have provided support with what we can. We still have not received a resolution to the issues and there are issues occurring across the board, not just in one portion of the software.

We've been with Rethink for about a year and a half now. It's not the most robust system I will say. When we signed up with them, they were two different companies that were supposed to be merging into one. I do like their question and answer area that you can go and do some research on, I like that. I like that you can also submit suggestions for upgrades to their system. I would just say it's not near as robust as others. Some of the system doesn't seem to communicate with other parts of the system. We were looking for ease of consolidation with the merge and that hasn't happened yet. It's disappointing. If it wasn't so laborious to change systems we would probably leave Rethink, we have looked actually. We love Total Therapy and we're neutral towards Rethink if that makes sense. In terms of what was promised when we signed on with them hasn't been delivered. The system doesn't go down which is nice and it's easy to log into but doesn't meet our needs fully. There's not a lot of ways to customize things within the system for ourselves either.

There are so many glitches in the system and the scheduling part is very hard. Now, we have multiple locations. The system doesn't support multiple locations. I have to create separate emails for the separate accounts. The billing is also problematic too.

There are complications with billing as we don't bill through insurance since we're located in Canada. We were hoping the Rethink software would simplify this for us but it hasn't. If we were able to change the label of "billable" to meet out needs it would be much better.
For scheduling there isn't a way to adjust an employees availability in the case where they have an emergency and are unable to work for a day. In the system we have to set an appointment to show them as unavailable.

It's not user-friendly. We can't make an appointment on the app. All programs are categorized together so it is confusing. We have to download graphs one by one. Not all employees are ablet o to view other people's calendars. We are unable to access data on the app.
It's frustrating to use. There are features that show each of our providers every employee we have. They should only be able to see their information and not every employee. Also, password resets are difficult to do. Each time we reset a password we have to provide a different email address for our employees. It's time-consuming and not easy for our employees to keep track of. Support doesn't always respond when we submit a ticket or request for help.

When I get a hold of someone they are nice but I've not been able to get the set up of my services completed in order to be able to use the system. I have not been able to set up the program with the company. I used their credentialing program and was not thrilled, lots of miscommunication. I've been working on this since December and I am still waiting to hear back from them so that I can enroll in the data collection and billing services in order to start seeing clients. I am about to look for another provider, but I received a discount on the credentialing program if used their billing and data collection program. The inability to utilize the system is directly impacting my business as I'm unable to schedule clients. I've previously recommended the Rethink System to a colleague but now regret that decision-based on the frustration I've encountered in finishing my setup.

I've not had a good experience at all. You guys delegate everything out. The whole point of paying for your services was so you guys could help with support. But every time we try to reach out it's "no that's not something we do as a company. The whole point was to assist us and help the process be as seamless as possible but it seems like more and more things are being delegated out and it's kind of frustrating.

I had a lot of high hopes for the program when I signed up. I was recommended by a few people, but it's just not working for me at all. There's no reason why, when my BCA does the initial assessment and puts it in the system, once you try to assign the RBT the original assessment can be changed. That's ridiculous. If I wanna have another call to discuss these things, I'd like to have a BCA on the call as well as a technician.

I had asked the marketing team specifically "Is anybody going to be available to help me if I had questions? Could I call someone?" He reassured me that yeah, I can call someone and they would be available. That was not true at all. People only work via email at Rethink and when I ask the person I'm emailing if I can call them, they say they're not provided with phones, so I cannot call anybody. I will never refer this to anybody. It is not an easy program to use. It is very time-consuming. Especially when you're just starting to learn to use things. People aren't available to help. It would be so much easier if I could call somebody- like maybe the trainer who helped me- to just ask if something is right. They kept referring me to training videos instead when I would have just one little question to answer. I had used Central Reach before Rethink and I thought Central Reach was bad but it turns out they were actually better. I thought there would be something better out there and that Rethink would be it. The marketing team made it sound appealing and it's just not usable in application. I'm actually looking to switch off of Rethink as soon as my contract is up. Also, to bill through Rethink, it's $.75 a claim and that is very expensive There's some other additional fees involved, too, that nobody told me about. I think it's just a very expensive system. That's another reason I would never refer anybody to Rethink. In fact, I will tell people about the negative issues I'm having with them instead.

I have voiced my concerns with Rethink as high up as the Vice President of the company and nothing is done about it. From the first time that we spoke with Rethink, they lied. They lied during the training, they literally gave me false information. I signed on according to that info I was given and then, upon finding out I was lied to, I was like "Wait, that isn't what I was told, can I change my contract?" They said I could but then when I tried, I couldn't. So, I haven't been able to use it because of the false information I was given. Then, I had an individual that was on there, she left and I tried to remove her and they still bill me for her. I can't see a rhyme or reason for why they would do that. So, I am paying over 50 percent more than I was led to believe I would pay for. Also, they will send me a correspondence saying "We took this or that money out of your account." for an invoice that isn't even due for three or four weeks. We're just working on writing our own programming at this point to avoid using Rethink. I'm just waiting for the contract to run out.

My problem and the reason I'm not going to renew is because the onboarding did not go well for me. Once I figured it out, it's not hard to use. But, in order to get it up and running, it was a real hassle. There was one person who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and everyone else I had to deal with was very uneven in the speed in which they did things and it was just not a fun experience for me. The person I dealt with for the billing was borderline gruff and was unhelpful.

I used Rethink starting in 2019 and stopped in 2021. I have gone back to using them but just for RBT training. It took support a month to get it active. I had a lot of struggles when using them in the past and I would not go back to the system. The ease of use is fine but only when its working. THere are several areas I liked but the glitches made it impossible to use. The glitches outweighed the positives. I found the support lacking, there was no answers on why the glitches kept happening or how to fix it.

I would actively advise colleagues to use a different company. I would warn people against using Rethink due to the issues we have. Due to the shortcomings of the system it has cost our company money in terms of claims that haven't been paid and refunds that we had to pay back to insurers as a result of Rethink not providing documentation to insurers during our audits. It's a bad service and I have nothing good to say about it. The only reason we haven't canceled our service is that learning a new system takes time and we don't currently have that time.
I would like to meet with a Rethink representative in person to discuss these issues so that we can both be looking at the same computer screen while we go over everything.
